In August 2003 we spent a couple of weeks at Andy Fulgoni's converted farmhouse in the mountains of Northern Italy. These are the boars' heads that greet the visitor on entering the front door. The boars' head drawings were made as a gift to Andy for the loan of the house.
Andy's house is quite close to the town of Bardi, which is also the ancestral home of the Cavalli family. The view of Bardi castle from the main street. 'from the Bar Grande' is actually mistitled as it is impossible to see the old church in Bardi from the Bar Grande. It should be called 'from the old market square'.
